Alfredo recently went on a Dog Day Out and here's what his DDO buddy had to say!

Summary: Loves fetch. Loves snuggles. Loves fetch. Good on leash. Loves fetch. Knows sit. Loves peanut butter frozen yogurt with blueberries. Oh yeah, and he loves fetch!

I had a wonderful Dogs Day Out with Alfredo. He is a 3 year old terrier pitty mix. He was very excited to get out of his kennel so we played fetch in the yard for a little while then headed on over to Sweetwater Court Sniffspot. He had a lovely pup cup and we played fetch again for an hour. He was so happy!! Then we took an hour long walk. He was happy to see all the people out and was appropriately interested in the other doggos. He politely watched me eat my lunch and eventually he napped and we snuggled in the backseat (I'm afraid for my reputation!). He was so sweet and wanted to be so close to me. Then it was time for frozen yogurt! He ate his and then politely watched me eat mine. We went back to the shelter and played fetch again in the play yard (more happiness!!).

One of the volunteers told me that Alfredo is very shy in the kennel. He may not even come out to the outside half of his kennel to greet visitors who want to adopt so people don't even see him! If you're looking for a cuddle bunny who really, really loves fetching a ball please ask specifically to see him. A volunteer will bring him to the play yard where Alfredo can show off his stuff! Guilford County Animal Services is open for adoptions every day (except Tuesday) from 12-4!"
