Meet Alfie! <br/><br/>If youre looking for a puppy that wakes up excited about life every single day, Alfie is your guy.<br/><br/>At 5 1/2 months old, this Great Pyrenees/Lab mix already weighs about 50 lbs and is still growing, but he hasnt quite realized hes going to be huge. Whether hes wrestling with his dog friends, following his nose on a new adventure, or flopping onto the couch for a nap, Alfie throws his whole heart into everything he does.<br/><br/>Hes the kind of dog who always has a goofy grin on his face. He absolutely loves people, soaks up every bit of attention he can get, and has a way of making everyone around him smile.<br/><br/>Alfie already knows sit and down... though hes developed his own strategy when treats are involved. In typical lab fashion, instead of focusing on the snack in your hand, hell often use his incredible nose to try to sniff out where the whole bag is hiding. Hes smart, food motivated, and always keeps you laughing. <br/><br/>Hes crate trained, mostly potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, rides great in the car, and has been introduced to kids, dogs, cats, rabbits, and even chickens. Like any puppy, hes still polishing his manners and learning that not everyone wants to be greeted with his whole body, but hes eager to learn and catches on quickly.<br/><br/>Alfie would make an amazing adventure buddy. Whether its hiking, camping, road trips, or simply exploring a new park, hes always ready to tag along. And when the day is over, hes just as happy curling up beside you on the couch for a good snuggle.<br/><br/>While he does have Great Pyrenees in him, we dont think hed be happiest as an outdoor working livestock guardian. This boy is much more interested in being part of the family than patrolling a pasture.
