When you picture a warrior what does it look like to you?<br/><br/>Well; you are looking at one right here in Alfie. At only five pounds Alfie may be a little guy; but he's mighty. <br/><br/>Alfie was found by a good Samaritan during a recent round of extreme heat. Alfie had burrowed down into the dirt in an attempt to keep his little body cool; with no Mama in sight. The good samaritan took Alfie into their home and contacted our rescue. Alfie was treated for fly strike wounds and malnourishment but is THRIVING in foster care.<br/><br/>Alfie has caught on to house-training better than could ever be expected, does great in his kennel, and loves cats AND dogs. <br/><br/>All that's missing now is for Alfie to find his forever family; and he SO deserves that. This little fighter has been through a lot and deserves a life of comfort and love now.<br/><br/>Alfie will go into his new home up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines, on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative, and his neuter procedure is included in his adoption fee.<br/><br/>We send Alfie into his new home with his bed, bowls, favorite toys, food to get him started in your home, his leash, collar, and his harness.
