Alexander American Staffordshire Terrier Sacramento, CA

Meet Alex! He's a Black with White pit bull mix pup at 11 months old (Born June 7, 2022) and Approximately 70-80lbs. Alex likes tennis balls, squeaky/crunchy toys, bones, belly rubs, loves to follow/chase the pool cleaner, loves attention and to be babied. He is very quick on learning and constantly aims to please.

Alex does not have much experience with other dogs outside of his littermates, unfortunately, however all three will attempt to play with the neighbors dogs through the fence. He is fostered in a home with two cats but have not had face-to-face interactions with them (only through baby gates).

Alex knows all know basic commands: Sits, Wait, Come, Touch, Up, Down, Inside, Plots (Lay Down) and he is crate trained. Alex can walk on a leash and will need more structure and reinforcement.

He was diagnosed with Elbow Dysplasia in the left front elbow, which requires surgery and a relaxing home environment. He takes 2 medications daily (100mg Carprofen, 300mg Gabapentin) in the meantime and 1 shot (Adequan) per/month.
