Alaya

Alaya is a beautiful 2-year-old dog with a bright spirit and an even brighter personality. Based on the look and feel of her soft coat, we believe she may be a Lab/Golden mix, though her breed is just our best guess.<br/><br/>Alaya was rescued from the streets of Mexico and is now safe and thriving in foster care while she waits for her forever family. Once she finds her home in the U.S., transportation will be arranged so she can begin her new life.<br/><br/>This girl is full of life! Alaya is extremely social, affectionate, and energetic. She loves meeting people, giving lots of kisses, and enjoying cuddle time after a day of play. She has plenty of energy and would thrive with an active family that enjoys spending time outdoors.<br/><br/>Alaya gets along great with kids and other dogs, making her a wonderful companion for a busy household. We are not sure yet how she does with cats. Because of her energy level, she would do best in a home with a yard where she can run, play fetch, and burn off some of that joyful energy.<br/><br/>Due to the abuse and neglect she experienced while living on the streets, Alaya is unable to see out of one eye. Thankfully, her other eye works perfectly fine, and it does not slow her down at all. She is a happy, playful girl who doesn’t let her past define her and is simply waiting for a loving family to give her the second chance she truly deserves.<br/><br/>Alaya is ready to bring joy, love, and lots of tail wags to the family who opens their heart to her.
