Alaska's Story

How this pet arrived: Alaska was brought in by a community member on January 20, 2026.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Alaska! Big fluff, bold spirit, and always ready to explore, Alaska is an adventurous guy with classic "what's over there?" energy. If there's something to investigate, he's on it - sometimes even over the fence - so he should not be left unattended in the yard. Alaska sports a thick, fluffy coat that turns heads and draws compliments. Regular brushing is needed to prevent matting and keep his coat in good shape. As a working breed, Alaska is built for action and brain power. He needs plenty of physical exercise and mental enrichment to stay happy, think long walks, hikes, training, puzzles, and jobs to do. He's done well with other dogs and may do well with a dog that matches his energy level and personality! Alaska is a sweet, active pup looking for a family that enjoys staying busy and including him in the action. If you're ready for a fun, high-energy companion with a big personality to match his name, Alaska is ready to go!At SDHS:Alaska has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Grey Weight: 61lbs Age: 6yrs 2mths 1wks Animal has been Neutered
