Alameda

Alameda will be AVAILABLE for adoption September 18, 2026. Her mum Tami (see photo) was found by the side of a rural road in the Central valley already enormously pregnant. Tami has been DNA tested and is 49% Chihuahua and 10% Dachshund with 8% Cocker spaniel and 11 other small breeds in her background including Pomeranian and miniature Schnauzer and Shih Tzu as well as Chinese Crested!! We do not know who the father was, but Alameda is currently 2 and a half pounds at almost 7 weeks of age, so she is predicted to reach a maximum of 14 pounds full grown.<br/>These puppies will get their second set of puppy shots September 18th, 2026, and have been dewormed and fed good quality puppy food and goat milk for the last 3 weeks. They are also fairly consistently using a litter box inside. But, hey, they are babies, so no guarantees. They have been exposed to different resident dogs and are comfortable with both large and small dogs. Their nails have been trimmed weekly.<br/>Alameda is in foster care in Clatskanie, Oregon, along with her 2 sisters and three brothers. DNA test on the remaining pups is pending. They are larger and look very different from Alameda, so we suspect there were 2 different baby daddies.<br/>Alameda's adoption fee is $250. Secure fencing and a solid dog-owning history are mandatory.<br/>BONUS: Alameda has a perfect heart shape on her left side!
