Ajay - ADOPTED

READ THE FOLLOWING FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION AND FOR A DESCRIPTION OF THIS PET:

Meet Ajay! Ajay is the cutest, leggy terrier mix with the best beard in town (perfect for no shave November!) and a scruffy little face. Ajay is a puppy at just 5 months old. His origins are unknown as he was found as a stray by a Good Samaritan who thought they saw him being hit by a car. Fortunately for Ajay, he had no major injuries just a few scratches which have fully healed. Ajay was taken to a local shelter prior to be coming into rescue with us. Ajay is a typical puppy - sweet and silly. He is excited to see his people, loves playing with other dogs, laying with other dogs, playing with toys, and is a top notch snuggle bug. Ajay loves to be held! Ajay is very food motivated which has made puppy training easier. He is doing very well with house training - he is following the resident dogs and other foster dog outside to do his business and has only had a couple of accidents in the house. We are working on crate training- he does ok in the crate but, of course, would prefer to be with his people. He has been sleeping with his foster parents outside of the crate with no accidents over night.

Ajay is being fostered with other dogs of all ages and sizes and does great with everyone. Ajay currently weighs 16lbs and is expected to be a small to medium sized dog, approximately 25-35lbs when full grown. We expect Ajay would be fine with cats with guidance and would be good with kids. He just needs to be taught not to jump up. Ajay is an absolute love bug and a puppy who is ready to find a safe, loving home. He is patiently waiting for a family to scoop him up and show him the good life!

Ajay is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, flea/tick/heartworm prevention and is microchipped. Ajay’s adoption fee is $450.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:

- The first step towards adoption is to complete an adoption application, which can be found online at our website www.roadtriprescues.com, under the “ADOPT” tab.

- Do not use the Petfinder links or email to ask us about our adoptable dog listings - we do not always receive these messages and will not respond to them.

- Please do not ask if a dog is still available - we do our best to update their status as quickly as possible. If a dog is listed for adoption, it means we have not yet approved an adopter and are still accepting applications.

- PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY APPROVED ADOPTERS WILL BE PERMITTED TO MEET OUR RESCUES - WE ARE A FOSTER BASED RESCUE AND ALL OF OUR DOGS LIVE WITH US AS FAMILY.

Thanks for considering a rescue pup!

Road Trip Rescues Inc. - Bethlehem, PA
PA Kennel License #7186
