This adorable boy is AIDEN! Super sweet, happy and friendly, Aiden started his life out at a shelter as a puppy and is acclimating well to life as a family dog! He seems to have topped out at a long and lean 50 lbs as he approaches an estimated year old.

AIDEN is housetrained and crate trained and is learning what is okay to chew and play with and what is not. He has a VERY strong sniffer and we guess he would do well in tracking work or agility. Work from home? Aiden would love to play outside in a fenced in yard - even better with another friendly dog! Aiden plays hard and sleeps hard. He is a dog who would do very well having chew specific toys.

AIDEN currently lives in a foster home with a mom and dad, three dogs, and two toddlers. While he does okay with the toddlers, he still can jump when excited so we would recommend he go to a home with slightly older children. It's important to note that Aiden is not a hyper dog and the jumping has come a long way and is now more often replaced with Sit.

AIDEN would LOVE a daily walk or to play fetch out back. We do not recommend Aiden go to a home with cats. While he hasn't been specifically tested with cats, he has a strong prey drive with the other dogs when squirrels run along the fence line or deer walk through the woods out back. His foster mom recently had to rescue a turtle from the yard he had cornered.
AIDEN is extremely treat motivated and happy to Sit and Stay for something yummy. He has recently learned down and we are working on Shake.

While we don't know his exact breed mix, we do think based on his love of chewing on toys and strong sense of smell, he is heavy in lab/retriever mix. He looks labby too. However, we do not guarantee breed identifications. His estimated DOB is February 21. Aiden is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
