She can be a little reserved at first and may need some time to warm up, but once she feels comfortable, her affectionate side truly shines. Ahsoka loves attention and will happily lean into you for scratches and pets.<br/><br/>She enjoys spending time outdoors, so a home with a secure backyard would be a dream come true. Ahsoka also loves her daily walks and has demonstrated great leash manners.<br/><br/>Ahsoka would do best as the only pet in the home and in a household without small, high-energy children or babies. She does have food sensitivities and is currently on a hydrolyzed protein diet, which will be an ongoing expense to consider.<br/><br/>We welcome all applicants, though prior experience with Akitas or dogs in general is considered a plus!<br/><br/>Do you think you could be Ahsokas person? Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.<br/><br/>*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
