She absolutely adores people, especially kids, and if there's a belly rub being offered, she'll happily flop right over to claim it. She has an incredibly sweet, submissive personality towards people and is always looking for affection, making her the perfect cuddle buddy after a day of adventures!<br/><br/>This smart girl has been working hard with her foster to build a strong foundation for life. She is already learning commands like sit, down, come, and her name, and she's even beginning off-leash training with an impressive recall for such a young pup! She's also making wonderful progress on greeting people politely by keeping all four paws on the ground instead of jumping up, and she's doing an amazing job!<br/><br/>Aelia is dog-friendly and has been intentionally socialized in a wide variety of environments. Her foster regularly takes her to busy public outings, including car shows, where she confidently takes in all the sights, sounds, and new people. She's also learning to remain neutral around other dogs while out and about, helping her develop good manners and preventing unwanted leash reactivity as an adult!<br/><br/>Her foster believes that socialization isn't just about meeting everyone, it's about teaching puppies how to confidently and politely navigate the world around them. Because of that, Aelia's training has focused on exposing her to new environments, people, sounds, and experiences in a positive way. Continuing this type of socialization will be important as she grows, helping ensure she develops into the confident, well-rounded, and polite adult dog she's already on track to become!<br/><br/>Aelia is already crate trained and is working hard on potty training! Like any young puppy, she'll continue to need consistency and routine in her new home to ensure her progress with potty training continues!<br/><br/>When it's time to have fun, Aelia is all in! She loves playing in the water and is always ready to splash around before settling down for some well-earned cuddles!<br/><br/>She's a joy to have by your side wherever you go! Aelia rides beautifully in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and is wonderfully cooperative during bath time. She doesn't mind having her mouth, ears, paws, tail, or toes handled, making grooming appointments and veterinary visits easy and stress-free. She's even been exposed to thunderstorms and fireworks and takes them in stride without any concern!<br/><br/>Her foster has gone above and beyond to give Aelia the very best start in life through positive training, confidence-building, and thoughtful socialization.
