Adele's Story

For inquiries email sharon@compactcaninerescue.org

Fee: $600

Location: Hopewell, VA

Meet Della! She is a 5 year old miniature schnauzer. She comes to us from a puppy mill in Pennsylvania. She has spent the last 4 and a half years of her life giving birth to puppies. But now its her time to shine! She will be spayed and have her dental on 7/14 then be ready for adoption.

Della is learning to walk on leash. Until now she has never had the pleasure of a walk. But she has learned its fun and loves sniffing when walking with the pack. Della is overweight from years of neglect. Walking daily will help slim her down as well as give her endless joy. Della is working on her house manners. She will potty during walks and will try to use pee pads when available. She will catch on. She is a smart girl who wants to please. Her spay will help speed the house training along.

Della is a very laid back dog. She seeks attention from anyone who will give it to her. If you stop petting her she will let you know with a snoot push or paw tap that she has not had enough and would like you to continue.

Della will benefit from a quiet home and a family who enjoys walking their pets. She would love a fenced yard but its not a requirement. She would love to cuddle while you watch TV or read a book. She is an all around sweet dog with much to offer. Dont miss out on this darling dog!

For the most up to date photos and information follow us on our social media channels.

Instagram

Facebook

X

YouTube

TikTok

BlueSky

LinkedIn
