Adele Labrador Retriever & German Shepherd Dog Mix New Orleans, LA

Adele (answers to Dellie) is the easiest puppy! She’s growing confidence with playing with her 60lb rough and rowdy foster dogs but still runs for cover under the couch if she gets overwhelmed. She likes to explore and does the stretch and sniff if she’s unfamiliar with an object. Watch out for your shoes, cords and hair as with any puppy; redirecting her to an appropriate chew item is easy.

She will sleep a solid 6hrs thru the night and will do 8hrs if she gets plenty of puppy play time. Potty training will be a snap, she will poop within 2-5mins of finishing her kibble. I’ve seen her run into her puppy pen to pee on the puppy pads.

Adele is possibly a GSD, Cur or lab mix. I was told pit but do not see any physical attributes to the breed. At 7 weeks young she was 5.4lbs. While needing groceries, she is thin framed so I think she might be 45-55lbs but there’s ZERO guarantee on her weight or breed make-up.

Because she is only 9 weeks old, her adopter will need to commit to bringing her to our vet in New Orleans to get her spayed when she is old enough.

As with all of our rescues, this pupper comes fixed, dewormed, fully vaccinated for the year (Rabies, Distemper Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, 4 strains of Leptospirosis, Bordetella), Microchipped, heartworm tested (we fully fund treatment if positive) and current on both flea and heartworm preventative.
