Addi's Story

Name: Addi
Estimated DOB: 12/12/21
Breed: Cavapoo
Sex: Female (Spayed)
Weight: 13lbs
Location: Buffalo

Meet Addi!

Addi's journey with 716 PAWS started with a much-needed makeover. When she arrived from the puppy mill, her coat was severely matted and dirty, with tangles all the way down to her skin. After a gentle bath, a fresh shave, and a little pampering, this beautiful girl emerged—with an adorable pigtail and bow to match her sweet personality!

At approximately 41⁄2 years old, Addi is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations. She's still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. Addi is starting to walk in a leash after initially being too afraid to walk on it. She is pretty good about going outside to go potty.

Addi is a gentle, reserved girl who has already begun to blossom in foster care. Each day, her confidence grows a little more. She loves to quietly follow her foster mom from room to room, and when it's time to relax, you'll often find her curled up between her foster mom's feet, soaking in the comfort and security she's been missing.

We are incredibly proud of the progress Addi has made in such a short time. What she needs now is a calm, patient home where she can continue to build trust and discover just how wonderful life can be. With a little love and understanding, Addi will reward her family with unwavering loyalty and companionship.

Could you be the one to give this sweet girl the happy ending she deserves? Addi is ready to find her forever home.

If you're interested in adopting Addi, please apply at www.716paws.org/adopt or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved.

716 Promoting Animal Welfare & Safety (716 PAWS)'s Adoption Policy
Currently we only adopt out within a 1 hour commute from the Buffalo Niagara airport. We accept any application outside of that area if the family has no other pets and is willing to come to buffalo for meet and greets with the dogs. If an applicant has other pets it is on a case by case basis weather the foster is willing to travel for the meet and greet. We will consider processing applications outside of Western New York and Rochester if the family has no other dogs in the home and is willing to come to Buffalo for the meet and greet. We do not provide transport services to out of town adopters. We do not adopt within Canada. What's Required to Adopt Required vetting for dogs: They must be spayed or neutered Be current on their rabies, distemper/parvo. Kennel cough/Bordatella is highly recommended but not required for dogs. If current animals are not vaccinated and spayed/neutered, the application will be denied unless there is a valid reason that it was medically necessary not to perform the procedure. Required vetting for Cats:? They must be spayed or neutered Be current on their rabies PLEASE NOTE: You must be 21 or older to adopt. Once your application is received we distribute to our volunteers for processing. First we will contact your vet reference if you current have pets living in the home or have had pets within the past two years. Next we will be contacting your personal references. Next is the home check. This visit is a non dog meeting where a volunteer will meet with you and the members of your household to discuss the adoption process, review the home, the yard and answer any questions you may have. Once the home visit is completed and if you are approved, you will be notified and can then express interest in a dog.
