Ace is a 2.5 year old purebred Australian Shepherd around 30 lbs with a heart as fluffy as the coat the shelter accidentally shaved off. Instead of giving him a trim before he came to rescue, they gave him the full haircut treatment, and poor Ace is currently convinced he looks ridiculous. You can absolutely see the embarrassment in his photos. Don’t worry, Ace… your floof will return.<br/><br/>Underneath the bad haircut is a happy, goofy boy who loves to play and absolutely adores other dogs. In fact, we think he would do best in a home with another playful dog because having a buddy really brings out his confidence and fun personality.<br/><br/>Ace can be shy when meeting new people at first, but once he warms up, his sweet side takes over fast. Sit down in a chair and suddenly his paws are in your lap demanding attention immediately. He has the cutest little paw tap to politely — but persistently — let you know you stopped petting him too soon.<br/><br/>He’s affectionate, playful, sensitive, and full of personality.
