Ace is a a tiny little cutie who we got out of a California shelter after he was confiscated by Animal Control for neglect by his past owner. This boy is SUPER resilient though and has the sweetest temperament despite the lack of care in his former life. He had very matted fur when he came into the California shelter and we can share those initial photos with a potential adopter if they would like to see them. <br/><br/>- 6.6 pounds and approximately 4-5 years old<br/><br/>- Likely a Maltese but we have not done a DNA test on him. He is going to look so handsome once his fur grows back out and is groomed properly. He got a rough cut from the vets at the shelter when they shaved him due to extensive matting. <br/><br/>- Good with other dogs although he generally does not pay any attention to other dogs. He is mostly about his human and being close to them. No big dogs please. We are seeking a home with other small dogs if you have dogs in your home. <br/><br/>- Good with cats and has been fostered with them<br/><br/>- Loving, affectionate little lap dog who wants to be your best little fluffy companion. <br/><br/>- Kids ages 12+ if there are kids in the home<br/><br/>- Potty training is a work in progress but Ace will use a potty pad reliably if one is available to him. <br/><br/>- Happy, social, friendly dog with strangers. Always wagging his tail.<br/><br/>Ace is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed heartworm tested negative and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
