Acai's Story

Meet Acai!

Acai is a sweet 3-year-old Lab mix weighing around 35 lbs who was rescued from the streets of Ponce, Puerto Rico, and is now with The Sato Project. He’s a lovely boy with so much potential to become a wonderful companion. Acai is working on his leash manners and learning all the little things that come with being a loved family dog. With a little patience, consistency, and lots of love, he has so much to look forward to.

Acai would love a family to call his own, a cozy place to settle in, and people to share life’s everyday moments with. He has so much life ahead of him, and we can’t wait to see him get the chance to experience what it means to have a home of his own.

He’ll be flying into Morristown, NJ, on November 9th, and it would be so special for him to have his forever family waiting to meet him at the airport.
