AC is a sweet guy and he wants to be adopted by a fun and loving human or Family!
He is a long haired Dachshund mix of some beautiful combo. He's such a handsome man with gorgeous eyeballs. He is 1-2 years old. He was found running around in an orchard with his brother DC, who is also up for adoption. He has a lil piece of his beautiful ear missing. He probably got attacked by something in the wild while they were left to fend for themselves. It has since healed but, there is a piece that won't be growing back. It doesn't hurt or effect him. It's a sign of his battle wounds and his past. He doesn't let that effect him from being a sweet boy that lives to be hugged and cuddled.
AC wants a cool home that will teach him the ropes of life. He would love to have a respectful kid or two or three to be best friends with. He loves other dogs and he loves people. He is pretty shy at first, and will sometimes nervous pee if he isn't sure what is going on and somebody picks him up. Once he knows you are an ally he doesn't do that anymore and he gives the best hugs. He has come a long way from when he arrived. He would hide from people until the coast was clear. He took a few days to understand that his life has changed and that he is safe now. We aren't sure what he went thru before he got here but, he sure seems likes he's trying to forget all about it. He has a great foster home that has helped him so far in his new journey. He likes to play with toys but, probably never had one until he was rescued:( He is a sunbather and will lay in the sun until he can't stand one more minute of it. Then, he gets some water and goes back out into the sun ?
AC is crate trained and is learning to walk better on leash. His little confidence is growing day by day and it's been amazing to watch. His Foster Mom is trying to run away with him because he has stolen her heart. But...she has to leave space for the next lil love bucket in need, so she has to fight the urge. He's a keeper!
AC deserves the best of the best and he won't let you down. He has his Paws crossed that it will be his turn very soon to get adopted and to start his new Furever life!
He loves treats and gets all excited when he knows it's treat time.
Adopting fee is $400
He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, dewormed, and on flea prevention.
