Abe #11 Yellow Labrador Retriever Mix Killingworth, CT

Abe #11 is a sweet boy and gets along well with other dogs. We think he is around 3 years old and weighs 65 lbs. He was found stray and the lady who turned him in said he was great with her dogs, but she didn't want any more dogs. Abe rides well in the car and just seems to be happy to be with you. Abe is a good dog. Please fill out an application if you are interested.

December 26, 2017 Update from Abe's Foster Mom in Connecticut: "Abe is such a good boy! He is a handsome lab mix with a wide forehead, meaty paws, and soulful eyes. His sweet temperament makes him want to snuggle all the time. He loves rides in the car and walks beautifully on a leash. I have never heard him bark! He is exceptionally calm for a young dog, with periods of goofiness, and has gotten along with: two kids, two dogs, one cat, and chickens. We are working on commands; sit, lie down, stay, which he picks up quickly—treats and praise are great motivators. Abe is a perfect dog, who will bring a lifetime of love and joy into his forever home."
