Abe

Abe is part gentle soul part rambunctious dude. He looks up to his foster brothers for self confidence, wrestles and snuggles. When he's comfortable he's playful, curious and a little spicy. However, he is cautious in new places and take a little bit to settle in. He gets nervous in the car but being with his brother helps. <br/><br/>For a little dude, he doesn't love being picked up as it holds him back and he loves to run - but he does appreciate a close snuggle in scarier (to him) situations. He sleeps through the night, and has been using the pee pad constantly. When the resident cat strolls by he gets curious but leaves her alone when she sets boundaries. Belly rubs and treats are his favorite and he's proven to be super smart - so he should be eager to train! Overall, Abe is a very happy pup with playful energy and a big soft heart.<br/><br/>Abe loves other dogs (of all sizes!) they seem to help him break out of his shell and give him comfort. Because of this, Abe would do best with a companion. <br/><br/>Abe is estimated to be 14 weeks old and 9 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention.
