Abby - Courtesy Post's Story
Abby is a Courtesy Post only and is not a Second Chance Dog Rescue dog. SCDR is not responsible for any ownership, behavior, health, and representations made by the owner with respect to this dog. You must contact Thomas Harney at 951-805-0236 for more information or to meet Abby.

Abby is 3, a Great Pyrenees / Shepherd mix. She’s loving and affectionate, and happy to come over and curl up next to you when you call her—very content to be on the couch, close by. She settles easily and has a calm, easy presence in the home. She’s lived in a home her whole life—on a ranch and with a family that had a toddler, along with goats, chickens, and other animals. She’s great with kids and comfortable being part of everyday life. She enjoys being outside, loves car rides, and is just as happy coming back in to relax. She’s lived with cats, though they’re not her favorite. In new environments she can startle at first, but she adjusts with consistency and a steady person. She’s not anxious—just needs someone willing to guide her as she builds confidence. Familiarity with leash work would be a plus. She’s being rehomed due to dynamics with the other dogs, and can be a bit skittish around bigger, dominant dogs. House trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. Abby is the biggest love. The kind of dog who just fits into your life and makes it better. Abby is looking for a forever home that appreciates a sweet dog with energy who loves to play. Abby is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. Please contact Thomas Harney at 951-805-0236 for more information or to meet Abby.
