Abby's Story

Meet Abby! We'd like to introduce you to SBR's youngest foster, born in early May. Her mother, Molly, came to SBR from a rural shelter in Alabama about a month ago. What nobody knew at the time was that Abby was along for the ride.

Abby was the only one of her litter who survived, but she is now doing well and thriving. She is not currently available for adoption and will remain with her mother for another month or so as she continues to learn about the world.

While we know Abby's mom is a basset hound, we have no idea about dad, although it's looking like he was some kind of schnauzer!
