Nice to meet you. My name is Abby, or Sweet Abby as I'm often called. I'm a Red Heeler mix, about 3-years-old and weigh a perfect 45 pounds. I get along with dogs and cats, and I'm uninterested in the ducks and chickens in my foster home. My past is now behind me and I'm learning to be a valued member of a family. I was a bit timid in my foster home at first, but I am settling in and becoming a really great pup. I am even learning that I like kids. Even though my past life has been outside, I've already learned not to potty inside, and I picked up leash training well. My crate isn't a place of comfort for me, but I'm learning. A fenced yard is important, and maybe another dog, or two, to help me continue my confidence-building. My nature is sweet and loving, so I'm looking for a patient family who is ready to continue my training to be the best dog ever. Are you my family? My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
