Abby's Story

Meet Abby! Sweet Abby has been well loved for the first ten years of her life, and unfortunately has found herself needing a new family to continue loving her the way she has always been. She is a happy and healthy older lady who loves to bounce around the yard in short bursts and spend most of the day snuggled on the couch with her person or in her favorite chair looking out the window. She is a bit of an anxious gal when it comes to change and new things. She loves people but takes a bit to warm up to other dogs. She does not need other pets in the home with her but if there are she prefers calm older dogs. Her biggest request is a new home with people who are home most of the day. She is potty trained and leash trained but prefers to not be crated. She is a beautiful, loving, well behaved dog that would love nothing more than to find her forever family and settle into the comfort of consistency.

Name: Abby
Age: 10 Years Old
Sex: Female
Breed: Goldendoodle
Weight: 42 lbs
Located In: Georgetown, KY
Temperament/ Energy Level: Low to Medium Energy
Recommendation for Kids: Yes, teenage + no younger children
Relationship with Dogs: Yes, calm, small
Relationship with Cats: No
Neutered/ Spayed: Yes
Crate Trained: No, hates it
House Trained: Yes
Leash Trained: Yes
Fence Required: Yes
Special Request: Quiet, consistent home with someone home more than not

PLEASE NOTE: To apply to adopt, the application and adoption process can be found on our website https://www.kyhopefulpaws.com/adopt.

Please read dog's bio carefully before applying.
