Ababa Zaba's Story

Ababa Zaba and his siblings were part of an "accidental litter" that the owners needed to rehome. We took them in because HOW CUTE ARE THEY? Their mom is 26 pounds and is the spitting image of them (short legged and brown merle) and we did not see dad. They are all low riders so we expect some Dachshund or Basset? Ababa and his siblings didn't get much one on one time as puppies and were mostly kept outdoors so they are a little shy of humans at first. They would thrive in quieter homes with older children and respectful dogs. They are currently in foster with other dogs and cats and are doing well. Due to their young age and having been mostly outdoors, they are still learning house training and will need an adopter to continue their training. Ababa is being fostered in Knoxville, TN and her adoption fee is $300. He will be neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
