7824 Porkchop's Story
Meet Porkchop!

When Porkchop arrived at DRU in June 2024, he had a torn CCL (cranial cruciate ligament). We made sure he got the medical attention he needed, including surgery-and he's made a strong recovery.

Now 3 years old, Porkchop is ready to find his forever home! He's a happy, active boy who thrives with his people, enjoys yard time, knows his basic obedience, and walks well on a leash.

What Porkchop doesn't handle well is meeting strangers. He needs time to warm up-but once he trusts you, you'll have a loyal, devoted companion. Because of this, we recommend a few meet-and-greets at the shelter to make sure it's a great match.

If you're willing to give this special guy a chance and win his heart, apply online.
