My name is Sunni Bird. I am a Corgi in need of a new family. I am about 6 years old and weigh appx 25lbs. I didn't mean to bite my human sibling. I am a herder by nature whether it be animals or humans. I was never taught not to do that. My foster mom tells you what an awesome dog I really am. I just don't need to have little people in my new home....
Meet the most perfect Corgi girl! Her name was Dixie for the first six years of her life, but her foster family believed she needed a fresh start, and call her Sunni Bird. She already has a bunch of nicknames, Birdie, Corgo porgo, Potato, etc. She answers to ALL of them because she's just so happy to have your attention!
Sunni lives with both large and small dogs in her foster home, and gets along with everyone! She plays with the big dogs! In true corgi fashion, she tries to 'herd' everyone while playing in the yard. Sunni enjoys the company of any respectful canine companion.
Sunni was surrendered after she bit the 4 year old child in the house. So, no young children in her new home.
This beautiful corgi darling LOVES food. In fact, she's on a diet because she a bit too chonky for optimal health. She has already started slimming down in her foster home, but is fed separately, because she's a food thief!
Sunni's foster family has seen ZERO aggression of any kind from her since she settled in. She's loving and sweet, and easily shares space with other dogs. All she wants is to be loved.
Her foster family has not had to crate her, because she's 100% potty trained and trustworthy in the house. It is very likely she would go trash panda if given the opportunity, so it is wise to keep trash secure.
Sunni is perfect on a leash!
