484 (2026) Jack's Story

Adoption Fee: $475

When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!

*Jack is believed to be partially, if not fully, deaf*

What we know: Litter of 4 (2M, 2F) transferred from 1 Tail At A Time in NM at approximately 8 months old. 1 Tail pulled the litter from a shelter in late September of 2025. Litter started as 5 and one suddenly passed away so intake was delayed to make sure the rest were healthy.

From the foster: Jack is the most squishable, lovable, cuddlebug you have ever met! He is a gentle giant with a very calm demeanor and will happily take all the hugs and kisses you have to spare.

He is currently in a home with other dogs, both young and old, and he gets along with everyone fabulously. He prefers to be with the people so if you are looking for a beautiful little shadow, he's your guy!

He does great in the crate at night but has also slept out and been fine. He is doing very well with potty training. He will need more training on a leash because he's not quite sure what he's supposed to do but we are working on it and he's already making improvements.

We aren't sure if he is completely deaf or just partially. We have had a couple of times when he seemed to react to a noise but we aren't sure he didn't feel a vibration. In any case, he is very alert and aware of his surroundings. He's a smart boy and is catching on to our schedule quickly. In fact, if we weren't at our max he would probably be joining our crew. He's just a beautiful, sweet soul.

He needs someone who will have the time and patience to train a deaf dog but he will be worth every moment you spend.

www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
