26Sentivo's Story

Name: 26Sentivo
Breed Mix: Mixed breed
Age: approx. 1+ yrs
Weight: 35 lbs
Dogs: Very friendly with other dogs — she's great with them on walks and at the park. She may have been used to playing with another dog at the shelter where she came from. She would do best with another dog in the home to keep her occupied. Without another dog she tends to chew on things and has a lot of unspent energy.
Cats: Is very curious and will chase a running cat. Potentially could do okay with a dog savvy cat, but initially only with supervision
Kids: Great with older kids — she's friendly, playful and not aggressive at all, but she's very energetic and jumps up when excited. Not tested with toddlers or very small children.
House-trained: Almost — she goes outside as long as the door is open or she has access to a doggy door, but still learning to signal
Crate Trained: Yes — she goes to her crate on her own at night and sleeps through the night
Leash Trained: Yes — she walks well on leash, though she can get a bit excited because she loves walks

Sentivo is a sweet, docile and loving girl who just wants to be close and play. She's very energetic and animated — still a baby at heart — and loves spending time outside in the yard. At night she settles into her crate on her own and sleeps the whole night through. She's very friendly and adores children. Like any young dog, she's still learning her house manners: she chews slippers and household items, and house training is a work in progress. She would thrive with a family that can give her playtime, structure, and maybe a doggy companion.

If interested, we recommend submitting an adoption application at: www.foothilldogrescue.org

This dog will be available at Saturday’s adoption event at our rescue. Meet and greets are 11:00 - 1:00.
Our address is:
4131 S Shingle Rd suite 14
Shingle Springs, CA

Please bring all resident dogs and children that live in the household to the meet and greet.

Our adult dog adoption fee is $350 (with $5 processing fee if paid by card) and fee for pups under 4 months old is $400 (with $5 processing fee if paid by card). Adoption fee includes spay or neuter, rabies, DAPP and Bordetella vaccines, deworming, microchip, heart worm test and lifetime registration.
