Harold is located in MO!<br/>Harold has been with us in foster care for about a year, and to know him is to love him.<br/>We originally began boarding him, and after seeing how well he does with consistency and routine, we knew keeping that stability in his life was important while he waits for the right home.<br/>He is a big, strong Bull Terrier with an even bigger personality. Harold can be shy when he first meets someone, but once he gets comfortable, his funny, affectionate side really starts to come out. He is eager to please and has been working hard on his training. He<br/>can occasionally be a little rough without meaning to be — he is simply a big guy with big emotions and a lot of enthusiasm.<br/>Harold enjoys his toys, but he isn't destructive with them. In fact, he usually keeps a little collection of about six toys in his kennel with him, right alongside his favorite pile of<br/>blankets.<br/>One of our favorite things about Harold is how much he loves watching TV and movies. His favorite show is Lucas the Spider, and he will happily settle in to watch with<br/>you. He does have opinions about what is on, though scary movies and sad or dramatic cartoon scenes are not for him. Harold prefers his entertainment happy and<br/>lighthearted!<br/>Routine is very important to Harold. Once he learns a new routine, he does amazingly well with it. Structure, consistency, and clear expectations help him settle in and feel<br/>comfortable, which is when you really get to see the wonderful dog we have come to know.<br/>Harold needs to be the only pet in his home. We are also looking for a quieter, more rural setting for him rather than a busy city or suburban environment. His ideal adopter<br/>will be comfortable with a large, strong Bull Terrier and willing to continue giving him the structure and guidance that help him thrive.<br/>Harold may need a more specific home than some dogs, but we know the right home is out there. For someone who can give him the environment he needs, he will bring an incredible amount of personality, laughter, and companionship. We would love nothing more than to see this special guy finally find his person.
