Mae Mae is getting a raw deal with ending up in the shelter because her owner is out of town and will not be back for 2 years. So here we go again with trying to find a new home for a scared little big girl. Mae Mae was super sweet to me from the start. We are told she has stranger danger which means it will take slow and proper introductions with new people for her to feel comfortable. I imagine it is the same with dogs for her. Give her slow and proper introductions. There is no need to rush anything. Let her proceed at her own pace where she is comfortable. Loud, very active and playful dogs may not be best for her.
