Meet 2401-0524 Trula Butterfly (Off Site Foster)

TRULA! Trula is a friendly young girl we thought might be a puppy as she is quite energetic and active but we now believe her to be a young adult 1-5 years old. She was found stray so we don't know much about her but will update as we learn. So far we see a social girl always ready for a treat...and a toy! She loves those stuffed toys and the minute she saw one, she took it and didn't let it go while running around. Trula has been a participant in our shelter playgroups and showing us she can be dog social. She gives perfect corrections when the other dog gets too rough but will go back and engage in play as long as the other dogs respects her cautions. (*Please note we are always supervising in playgroup.)

Trula tested positive for heartworms but treatment will be covered by VBACAC. This shouldn't keep you from meeting and possibly adopting as the treatments include just keeping her quiet and still for a certain period of time after each treatment.

*We do not believe she is good with small dogs or cats.
