THOR - 8 years old, 65 pounds, house trained, good with kids, sleeps in bed with the children, great family dog, only pet.

Thor was easy to get out of the kennel...can't say that too often when it comes to shelter dogs stuck in cages 24-7! Easy to get out of the cage, leash up and walk outside, Thor was a pleasure to hang out with. He is a sweet fella who loves to go for walks. First surrendered last year for getting through the fence and now back for biting another dog, this boy is looking for a new family where the fence is secure, he's the only pet, and attention is in abundance! Thor is a good boy who is able to hang out all day in a home without incident. He loves children and was even sleeping in the bed with the kids. Thor is, to me, at that perfect age, beyond those puppy years and behaviors, trained and experienced in a home. You and your children can absolutely bond with an adult dog and the best thing is that you don't have to go through the potty training, chewing, jumping, and mouthiness! Getting used to a new routine is always there though, so please be cognizant of any dog entering a new home and how everyone, even dogs, need time to adapt; I bet Thor won't take long! He is currently in a back kennel so if you don't see him, please just ask!
