2164 Copper's Story
Meet Copper: Your Future Best Friend!

Introducing Copper, a 2-3 year old 45# Bully/Rottie mix who is a resilient and loving foster dog looking for her forever home! Copper came into the rescue covered in fleas/ticks and severely malnourished and extremely timid of all humans due to how she was treated prior to rescue. But, with time in her current foster home, the patience, and love of her future adopters, she can blossom into the wonderful companion she was meant to be.

About Copper:
Temperament: Timid at first but a true sweetheart once she warms up to you. She's looking for someone who understands that trust takes time.
Playful Spirit: Copper absolutely adores playing with plushies, her canine siblings currently, and sunbathing in the warm sunshine.
Training: She is housebroken, crate trained, and doggy door trained, making her a great addition to any household!
Social: Copper loves other dogs and gets along well with kids. She doesn't mind the country living as wildlife and cows don't phase her. Cats are unknown at this time, but most likely would be okay. She would do best in a household with a canine companion to play with. However, she is a bit cautious around adult men, so a gentle approach is essential until you gain her trust.

What She Needs:
Patience: Copper requires a patient adopter who can help her learn that not all humans are bad.
Leash Training: Extra care and attention are needed for her leash training, as she's still getting used to walks.
If you're looking for a loving companion who just needs a little extra time and understanding, Copper might be the perfect fit for your family!

If you would like to meet Copper, please fill out the application below (copy and paste to your browser) and we will get back with you as soon as we can.

https://form.jotform.com/211044942326146...

Adoption fee pays for all vetting....spay surgery, all vaccinations, a heart worm test, deworming, flea prevention and a microchip

Sidenote...Look up Finn on Petfinder...He is her BFF and they would be great together if you're in the market for a pair. He helped her so much.
