#189's Story

My siblings and I were rescued from a breeder who didnt want to spend money on our care when we didnt sell. Thankfully, our amazing friends at The Charlie Project stepped in and gave us a second chance! Now were safe, loved, and settling into our foster homes while we wait for our forever families to find us.

Right now, Im couch surfing with my foster momma, soaking up all the cuddles I can. Im still just a baby, so Im working hard on potty training and learning all the good puppy mannersbut what I lack in experience, I make up for in love and sweetness!

Were looking for a forever family who will love and care for us for our whole lives. If youre interested, please apply at thecharlieprojectdogrescue.comwe do not respond to Petfinder emails.

A few important notes: We only adopt to families living in Illinois, Wisconsin, or states that directly border either IL or WI. If you rent, please have your landlord contact us directly to confirm that dogs are allowed in your home. Our adoption fee is $800, which includes microchip, current vaccines and boosters, deworming, and spay/neuter at our rescue vet. If you prefer your own vet for the spay/neuter, we will reimburse $100 once you provide proof of completion. This must be done before 6 months of age, and youll sign a contract agreeing to this.

DACPT #506053

Please visit our website www.thecharlieprojectdogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

The Charlie Project Dog Rescue Corp's Adoption Policy
We require everyone interested in one of our furry friends to fill out an online application before meeting an animal We require a spay/ neuter contract on every dog that is too young at the time of adoption to be altered by 6 months. We conduct an interview with your references and after we complete the application we will have our final interview with the potential adopters. Our adoption fees vary as some dogs who need medical care are adopted out for smaller fees and others help cover the costs of medical and transport, when fundraising is insufficient. We microchip every animal to insure that the dog will always find it's way home and if the dog is in a situation where it will end up homeless we require that the adopter contacts us
