Sheppe is fostered in Henderson, KY<br/><br/>Please meet this handsome guy. Sheppe is a 6 year old mini Australian Shepherd that weighs approximately 35 pounds and a gorgeous tail. Sheppe is very affectionate (he is a licker). The former owner surrendered him to us when she had to move into an apartment that did not allow dogs. <br/><br/>Sheppe was raised with cats and is has no issues wtih them. He is also great with other dogs of all sizes. Sheppe has nice house manners when given the ample amount of energy release, as with any australian shepherd. He is a barker when he wants something but is learning the word, “stop” and is much better. Sheppe has excellent recall (return). Sheppe is a VERY smart, loyal and responsive dog. Sheppe enjoys being in a home with another dog that is playful. Sheppe does well for grooming. He is great in the car. He is also crate trained and house trained. <br/><br/>Sheppe is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms. Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization.
