1166 Buddy's Story

Buddy is fostered in the St Louis, MO area.

This goofy boy is a total gem. He is a approximately 2 years old and weighs about 50 lbs. He is a silly, playful male red bi Australian Shepherd with a tail. He may also have a little border collie in there too. Buddy is often found pilfering through the toy boxes to find a toy to carry around that day.

Buddy LOVES all people of all sizes. He enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes and is also cat friendly. Buddy could use a brush-up on some basic obedience as he has a tendency to jump, but he is so excited to see people that he cannot help himself. For this reason, he is probably best with kids that are a little older.

He is crate trained and house trained and is such a happy-go-lucky guy that we can't figure out why anyone wouldn't fall in love with him. He was going to doggie daycare on a regular basis and has such a wonderful time. He would love to have another happy playmate in his home, or at least an outlet to play with other dogs.

Buddy is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms. Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization. For more information on our adoption process or to complete an adoption application, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org.

NOTE: All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in. Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application. We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family. MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives.
