Sparkle is being fostered in Sheridan IL.<br/><br/>Meet Sparkle! This adorable little blue eyed gem is a red merle Mini American Shepherd weighing in at just 26lbs. She is approximately 8-10 years old our vet tells us. <br/><br/>Sparkle is a sweet, gentle, shy girlie that will take time and patience in a new home. She will require another confident resident dog and a fenced yard. She came to us from a horrendous situation and is learning that life inside a home is soooo nice. We did have to shave her because she was covered in mats; but her coat is coming back slowly and better than ever because she has good nutrition now. <br/><br/>She is crate and potty trained, while she is still having a few accidents, she is almost there with her potty training. She will need to stay on a schedule and have consistency here. <br/><br/>Sparkle is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, negative for all tick borne diseases, and has had a dental. She is also taking monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworm. <br/><br/>Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization.
