Lovey is being fostered in Portage IN<br/><br/>Introducing Lovey! This gorgeous blue merle standard Australian Shepherd weighs in at 45lbs. Her date of birth is approximately 05/02/2023. Lovey came to us from Humane Fort Wayne (IN) from a breeder shut down situation, but that doesn't stop her adorable cute personality! She loves to love! <br/><br/>This adorable girlie is affectionate, totally velcro, loyal, gentle and LOVES to play with her four legged foster sibling in her foster home. She would probably be happiest with another dog friend in the home, but it isn't necesary if her humans are willing to have play dates with other doggie friends. <br/><br/>Lovey walks well on leash, loves to go for car rides, would love to be someone's sidekick! She is house trained, but she doesn't love her crate. When her foster mom leaves her at home, she gates her off in her kitchen. Lovey is also highly food motivated and eager to please her humans.<br/><br/>Lovey would love to have a fenced yard, someone to be her human and teach her some basics. Lovey does need a person who can allow her a few days to warm up to the otehrs in the home, as she does not like to have other dogs in her face so much. However, after some time getting to know one another, she will enjoy playing and entertaining one another. <br/><br/>Lovey is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, negative for all tick borne diseases, microchipped and on monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworm. Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization.
