1052 Tupawc's Story

Tupawc is Fostered in Mcfarland, WI

Born February 5, Tupawc may be small, but he has a lot to say once he warms up! He's a sweet, sensitive boy who loves to cuddle, be held, and soak up all the affection he can get. He's especially happy when he's close to his people—belly rubs are a big favorite. He is a black bi Aussie mix with a tail and cute little white socks on his feet. At full grown, they could be between 35-50lbs.

Tupawc can be a little shy at first and likes time to feel comfortable, but once he does, his curious and playful side comes out. He's the kind of pup who will “pump himself up” before doing something new—it's like watching him give himself a tiny pep talk before bravely taking on the world.

He's food motivated, eager to impress, working hard on house training and quite the chatty little guy once he opens up. He's already kid- and cat-tested and does well, and he'd be happy in a home with or without other dogs.

He can handle stairs like a champ despite his small size. His mom is an Aussie mix, and while dad is unknown, we suspect something small—Tupawc and his siblings are on the smaller side. If you're looking for a gentle, loving companion who will bond closely and grow in confidence with you, Tupawc is your guy.

Their mom, Paoli, came into rescue as a stray while pregnant, so we aren't exactly sure what the puppies are mixed with. What we do know is they are absolutely adorable and already showing sweet, playful personalities.

Because they are young puppies, they will need families who are committed to continuing their development. This includes:

Ongoing socialization
Positive training
Potty training
Plenty of exercise and mental stimulation

Tupawc is dewormed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization. For more information on our adoption process or to complete an adoption application, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org.

NOTE: All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in. Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application. We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family. MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives. www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org
