Zuri prefers not to be picked up and thrives in a calm, cat-savvy home that understands and respects her boundaries. While she once seemed like she needed to be the only pet, she is currently doing well living with a cat and dog in her foster home. She would still do best in a quieter environment and may prefer mellow companions.<br/><br/>She can be bashful around strangers at first, but offer her a Churu treat and you'll win her heart in no time. Since moving into a foster home with more space, Zuri has been opening up wonderfully and showing more of her confident, curious side. She enjoys having room to explore at her own pace and has been growing more comfortable each day.<br/><br/>Zuri loves nibbling on fresh cat grass and really enjoys having catnip sprinkled on her scratcher, happily rolling and rubbing against it with contentment. Sweet, sassy, and full of charm, Zuri is looking for a home that respects her independence while appreciating her affectionate side.<br/><br/>Zuri has some medical needs: X-rays have shown narrowing in her upper hind area, which is the likely cause of her wobbly hind end and abnormal gait. But this doesn't stop her from being her playful, loving self! This is currently being managed with a lifelong joint supplement.
