Zoe's Story

Hi, I’m Zoe! A young tabby girl (under a year old) with a playful spirit and a serious love for snuggles.

I’m part of a big family—I was born into a large litter and have never been on my own, so having a buddy is really important to me. I would absolutely love to be adopted with one of my siblings, Jayne, Wash or Simon Tamm. If that’s not possible, I’ll need a home with another friendly, playful cat to keep me company.

I’m the perfect mix of silly and sweet. I love to hunt and stalk my siblings in the cutest, most entertaining ways (don’t worry—I only cause the fun kind of trouble!). When I’m not busy playing, I’m all about the cuddles. I will snuggle with you for as long as you’ll let me, and in my opinion, the best place to sleep is right on top of my human.

I’m currently living in a foster home with other cats and even a small dog, so I’m well-socialized and used to a busy, loving environment. Like most kittens, I enjoy toys, playtime, and cozy spots to nap after a long day of adventures.

If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate little shadow who will keep you smiling and warm your lap (and your heart), I might just be your girl!

Zoe is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Animal House of South East Michigan, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment. Our adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten $195 for a pair of cats or kittens Please note that we do not do same day adoptions and all adoption fees are non-refundable. AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We are also flexible if more time is needed to determine if its the right fit. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
