One of the first things we learned about this self-possessed charmer is that he's a maverick, preferring to explore the world and embark on adventures as a solo venturer. He spurned the friendly advances from the other foster kitties in the home, content to keep himself to himself. Inclined toward an easy-going and peaceful existence, Xavier doesn't harbor a competitive drive but will thrive in a calm cat, dog, and child-free home where he is someone's one and only. Despite his reservations about other kitties and very young children, Xavier remains wide open and downright companionable when it comes to adult humans. He may appear hesitant and stand-offish around new faces at first, but given time, he'll transform into a confident, devoted companion for life.
