He was just a tiny, sick kitten when he came to us, and now he's 8 months old... completely vetted, healthy, and still waiting for someone to see just how incredible he is.<br/><br/>Wonka didn't have an easy start. He developed a severe upper respiratory infection before he made it to rescue, and sadly, it was too late to save one of his eyes. His remaining eye has limited vision, so we consider him about 3/4 blind.<br/><br/>But here's the amazing part...<br/><br/>Wonka doesn't let that define him.<br/><br/>He races through the house, plays with his favorite crinkle toys, proudly carries them around in his mouth, and chirps and trills with excitement while he plays. He has mastered life exactly as he is.<br/><br/>Because of his limited vision, Wonka simply asks for one small courtesy: let him smell your hand before petting him. Once he knows you're there, he's perfectly happy to accept all the love you have to give.<br/><br/>He's independent, easygoing, incredibly handsome, and has one of the coolest personalities you'll ever meet. He doesn't need constant attention, but he does need a home with another friendly cat to be his buddy.<br/><br/>We know his perfect family is out there. Maybe they've just never met him.<br/><br/>Wonka is currently located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but he is adoptable anywhere to the right home.<br/><br/>Please help us change Wonka's story.
