Willow's Story

Written: 9/25/26
Age: 3 months

Meet Willow!

Willow was found as a stray and is slowly learning to trust people after weeks of not being socialized. She is slowly starting to sleep in her fosters arms, which is great progress! She is very timid since before coming to B&B, she had been living outside. She is still getting acclimated to living inside, but making progress each day. Still learning to use a litter box. She does like to hide in small spaces currently and learning to trust humans and learn that they are kind!

She's the prettiest kitty you'll ever meet! Just a cutie pie, seeking a lifelong friend! She would do best in a home that understands she will need time to decompress as she learns all about indoor life!

Willow is up-to-date on core vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. She has tested negative for FeLV and FIV. She is almost litter box trained, and all Beagles and Bentleys cats are required to be indoor only. Her adoption fee is $150 and covers the cost of her care while in foster. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.

Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.

Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
