Walter Exotic Shorthair & Persian Mix Beverly Hills, CA

Meet Walter! He was given to us by his owner who could no longer care for him. Walter is doing GREAT! He is super friendly, very clean in the litter box, not a big meower or scratcher. He now has the run of the house and has jumped up and slept in bed with his foster parents. He’s a doll!

Walter has so many positive attributes. But he is a high maintenance cat, meaning he has an extreme flat face and tiny nose and absolutely needs his face cleaned every day. His eyes gets super crusty if you don’t gently wash them with a warm soft cloth . He also is a bit messy like so many cats of his breed. He can’t eat or drink without a full face plant so his face and chin are often wet and dirty. He is very strong and athletic, and loves to play. Feather wands are his favorite. He is a warrior with the feather wand, and destroyed all the feather wands at his foster home in 1 day! Good thing the attached feathers are replaceable! He climbs on his foster parents and makes biscuits and loves to get pets, but his favorite way to spend his time is to play. He doesn’t want to come quietly sit in your lap for long periods. He’s a young adult with high energy and wants attention and play.

Please also note that although Walter is an exotic shorthair, he has a very thick coat that needs to be combed daily or his coat will get matted. Most of his photos were taken after he had a lion cut due to his mats.
