Waka's Story

Waka is a 12-year-old ruddy male Somali. True to his breed, he hasn't met a meal he won't devour. He loves to give head-butts and receive attention. He would do best in a home that appreciates high-energy cats.

His previous owner described him as territorial and that he'd do best as an only cat. In his foster home, he shared space with a female cat who was the boss of him. Waka can be adopted a solo cat or potentially to a home with one other cat. If he's going into a home with another cat, the owner must be experienced at integrating adult cats. He has no known health issues.

Adoption fee: $300

If you are interested in Waka, apply here: www.neabyrescue.com/application
If you've submitted an application within the last 3 months, feel free to email us at neabyrescue@yahoo.com to express your interest.
