Our Mission
Northeast Abyssinian Rescue is an all volunteer organization fostering and placing Abyssinian and Somali cats within the New England and Mid-Atlantic states.
Cats that are placed through our foster care network receive: an exam, vaccinations if needed, and a microchip. As a purebred rescue, many of our cats are older and receive additional veterinary care.
Adoption Policy
If you would like to adopt one of our cats, please submit an application: neabyrescue.com/application
Our cats are cared for in private foster homes. We do not operate a shelter. Arrangements are made with approved applicants to meet our cats.
