Northeast Abyssinian Rescue
Our Mission
Northeast Abyssinian Rescue is an all volunteer organization fostering and placing Abyssinian and Somali cats within the New England and Mid-Atlantic states.Â
Cats that are placed through our foster care network receive: an exam, vaccinations if needed, and a microchip. Â As a purebred rescue, many of our cats are older and receive additional veterinary care.
Adoption Policy
If you would like to adopt one of our cats, please send an email to neabyrescue@yahoo.com to request an application.
We ask for a minimum donation of $300 per adoption. Â Adoption fees help us offset our annual veterinary costs.
Our cats are cared for in private foster homes. Â We do not operate a shelter. Â Arrangements are made with approved applicants to meet our cats.
