Meet Verbena
Hi, my name is Verbena! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Very timid, quiet, still learning to be a normal cat
-Can Live with Cats: Yes, after proper introductory period.
-Can Live with Dogs: No thanks - they are much too scary.
-Can Live with Kids: No thanks - I need an adult only home.
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes, I am at a high risk for skin cancer if I am outside as a white cat. I have lived indoors my whole life.
-History of Litter Box Issues: No, but will kick litter out of a small pan.
-Energy Level: Low
-Bite History: None
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a spay
Additional Information: Verbena came to WHS with several other cats as part of a multi-shelter effort to address a hoarding situation. She had a genuinely traumatic first few years of life, but this has not made her aggressive to people or other cats. Everything in the world outside of that house - including human interaction - is new to Verbena and she is overwhelmed by it, spending most of her time watching quietly. Verbena is tolerant of touch but does not currently seek it out. She will likely always be shy, but with patience and lots of TLC, she can learn that the world is not a bad place. She deserves her chance at happiness.
